Fast ForWord
Intervention description
Fast ForWord is a series of interactive e-learning programmes which aim to develop and strengthen children’s essential cognitive skills. It is aimed at children with specific learning needs, for instance those with dyslexia or autism. Fast ForWord was developed by neuroscientists to improve language and literacy skills while also developing memory, attention, processing speed and sequencing. It can be used in school or at home. Students are placed on a programme suited to their age and abilities. A reading assessment is done using the Reading Progress Indicator software. The programmes themselves automatically adjust to the student’s progress.
