Premier League Primary Stars
Intervention description
Premier League Primary Stars uses the appeal of the Premier League and professional football clubs to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills.
Available to primary schools in England and Wales, for pupils aged 5-11.
The intervention provides free lesson plans, activities and video content. These are designed to inspire learning in Maths, English, PE and Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PHSE). Working with the Premier League, National Literacy Trust have created all of the resources for the intervention.
Competitions include national football tournaments, creative writing and reading challenges for reluctant readers.
Premier League Reading Stars is now part of Premier League Primary Stars.
