Oxford Reading Tree
Intervention description
Oxford Reading Tree is a reading programme comprising sets of books and resources for primary age children. The traditional Oxford Reading Tree levelled books written by a team of children’s authors are now supplemented by synthetic phonics resources in the form of Floppy’s Phonics, which was developed by Debbie Heppelwhite and has been integrated into the programme. In addition to books and hands-on resources, CD-ROM resources and a teacher assessment toolkit are available. Resources can be purchased separately, but are designed to form a cohesive scheme which pupils follow through primary school.
