Place2Be
Intervention description
Place2Be is a charity which provides emotional and therapeutic services in primary and secondary schools, for children, school staff and parents. There is a range of services which a school can choose from, and Place2Be work closely with each school to build a model of support which fits their needs. Services available for children include: one-to-one counselling with a trained counsellor; Place2Talk, a lunchtime services which provides a quiet place to talk and play and is open to all pupils; and group work which can focus on specific issues such as friendship, self-esteem or bullying. For school staff, training is provided to help them support children’s well-being effectively, along with advice on safeguarding, and counselling and support services are also available to parents and carers.
