Intervention description

SAM Learning is an online service including an independent study tool for primary and secondary school pupils covering subjects across the curriculum. Activities can be completed by pupils in school or at home, and include timed practice test questions and interactive revision activities. Teachers in subscribing schools are able to adapt the resources within SAM Learning or create their own and share them with teachers across the UK.

SAM Learning also features a reporting suite which gives teachers the chance to monitor pupil progress throughout the year, as well as allowing them to compare cohorts against their predecessors and national averages, and apply filters to restrict their reports to specific pupil groups. SAM Learning also incorporates tools to identify groups of pupils in need of targeted intervention, and content bundles aimed at these groups. Subscribing schools receive 24-hour support from the SAM Learning technical support team, plus the assistance of an account manager and e-learning adviser.
